I thought the style of the documentary was pretty much status-quo. The standard interview style shooting with the quick cut to the visual aid and the voice over. I thought it was very aesthetically pleasing as well, a wonderful collage of commercials that were strategically placed to back up each point that was being discussed. The shot of the professors in front of the classes gave validity to the preconceived notion that these gentlemen and ladies knew exactly what they were talking about. Although there was not a lot of diversity in the film it did give thoughtful insight into the culture of commercials and the culture of television in general. How we some how gain our beliefs of what certain things are through what we see on television. All in all I thought it was a very well done and informative piece.
